This one is a bit complicated and you may have to make notes in order to follow it.

Who am I ?  What am I ?

My fingerprints are mine alone? My DNA's the same

These two things say who I am no matter what my name.

So who I am is easy..no matter what YOU see

From birth to death I'll never change..For

Je suis qui je suis* *

But What am I ?   I must be seen as being a human being

But what I am depends upon the person doing the seeing.

A giant would look down on me and say "You're rather small"

A pygmy would look up and say " My word, you're very tall"

A poor man sees my bank account. He says "You're a wealthy bloke"

A rich man sees the same amount and says "..You're nearly broke"

An anorexic skinny man would say that I was fat

A fat man would say that I was thin..
now where's the sense in that?

So now I have a problem what is this man called ME?

It seems that others think I am what THEY decide to see.

But there's another problem for I must confess

What these others think of me I can only guess

So I have now decided I don't have to be

what I think that others see when they look at me.

Rhett Butler coined the perfect phrase..so..

  "I don't give a Damn"

As long as I am satisfied with what

I THINK

I am.

. * * I know that you know this means 'I am who I am'

but not every one is a clever as us.
