During 2005 The Vidella Hotel was nominated for
The Hotel of The Year
Award,
and in February 2006 we were awarded the Silver
Award by The Blackpool Tourism Awards 2005. With
over 3500 hotels in Blackpool, it is a great honour
to win the Silver Award, and we'd like to give a big
thank you to all the people who nominated us.
We have also been
awarded Three Diamonds by The English Tourism
Council, which represents our efforts to maintain
first class standards and friendly service.
We are ideally situated
50 yards from the seafront; within 400 yards to The
North Pier, town centre, bus and train stations; and
within 850 yards to The Tower and The Winter
Gardens.
We are continuously
complimented upon our good food, cleanliness,
helpfulness, and friendliness.
As we have 29 ensuite
rooms, we are smaller enough not to become
impersonal, yet large enough to provide most of the
services and more that you'd expect from the large
hotels. If you need any help, advice or assistance,
there is always one of us at hand. If you have
limited mobility, we have ground floor rooms
available and we can help with luggage or anything
else you may need help with.
To welcome you to the
hotel, there will be a free drink waiting for you at
the bar. And if you're here for a special occasion
please let us know, as we can do those extra special
things to make it a celebration to remember. We
have an extensive choice of draught and bottled
beers, spirits and liqueurs. We serve bar meals
throughout the day, until 8pm.
We offer an excellent
evening meal with a wide choice of menu. Food is
freshly prepared daily using only the freshest local
ingredients. Vegetarian, diabetic and any other
dietary requirements can be catered for - please
advise at time of booking. At breakfast we serve an
unlimited supply of tea, coffee, juices, cereals and
toast, followed by a hearty English Breakfast.
